Registration & Sign-up Deadlines:
Our General Membership meetings have registrations. If we think of it as R.S.V.P. to someone’s home or a party, it might help to understand how important this is to our hospitality committee. They need to know the amount of food, chairs, tables, etc. needed, in advance, to accommodate everyone. Please be considerate and register. Plus, the bonus is that you may win a beautiful plant donated by the Malloys!
Many of our workshops and programs have deadlines. When there is a fee, please be aware of our refund policy found under Documents on our website.
Use of the NGC office:
If you have a need to use our classroom for a meeting, please email Gail Duke, Office Manager, gduke2500@gmail.com to check on availability.
Naples Garden Club Profile:
Please send Bev Metcalf bevmetcalf@gmail.com (Membership Chair) or Barbara Sampson (Data Manager) barbaras1702@gmail.com any changes to your contact information. You all should have received your new Directory/Yearbook at the November GM meeting. Please check to make sure your information is correct.
Communications and the Public:
Whenever sending any communications either internally to NGC members or to the general public, we have helpful guidelines for you. Once you are logged on to www.naplesgardenclub.org, you will see the Style Guide login on your Member Home page. This guide will help you with such things as logos, fonts, labels, colors and even letterheads for your convenience. Our Communications Chair, Jane Stone, can help you with all external PR and communications.
Active and Provisional members:
All members are asked to attend membership meetings, serve on committees, volunteer for our annual fundraising event (H>) and the Naples Flower Show (NFS), and take part in tours, trips and workshops whenever possible. Most of all, utilize your club and experience all the special events that are designed for your enjoyment, education and better understanding of our beautiful Florida.
Naples Garden Club public Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/naplesgardenclub Getting news out to the public about all the things we do as a club to fulfill our mission and vision and to give back to the community is important to us. We also have our private (closed) Naples Garden Club Member Facebook page for internal communications for members only.

Library Policy:
We encourage you to utilize the books in our library. They are full of enlightening information about horticulture, design and our environment. Kindly note, they are there for everyone to enjoy but are not allowed to be removed from the library. Renee Lewis and Sue Vernia, our resident librarians, have worked very hard to categorize and organize this beautiful library. Utilize the easy-to-follow Index-Guide to find and replace books on the shelves.
Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. (FFGC)
On the lower portion of our new website homepage, you will find links to Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., https://ffgc.wildapricot.org which we all belong to as members of Naples Garden Club. We are in District IX. Our Director for 2015-2017 is our own Kathleen Hawryluk. District IX encompasses Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Lee, and Polk Counties. Yes, we are a large District!
This website is your Florida State member profile. You receive your quarterly Florida Gardener magazine from FFGC and as the United States Post Office doesn’t forward magazines, you need to keep your address current. Change your address when leaving town for more than a month or you will not receive your magazine. Then remember to change it back again when you return.
Don’t Forget Amazon
FFGC continues to participate in the Amazon Associates Program that pays fees to FFGC for purchases we make by linking to Amazon from FFGC’s Website. This is an important program for FFGC. It costs you nothing extra to use this method to obtain any of the items which Amazon sells. The link may be found on the lower left hand corner of the FFGC website.
