Do you need a friend to aid you in your Flower Show design?
The NGC library is that friend. The Design Collection is vast and useful to stimulate your creativity, to offer many design types, to explain useful mechanics and to show outstanding photographs of designs.
A few new books for your perusal are on special display and the tried and true favorites are shelved for your review. Since our library is not a lending library, you can work peacefully at the table absorbing information and copying important information at the copier in the office.
A new acquisition is the classic “The Flower Arranging Expert” by Dr. D G Hessayon. This book has been required reading for the Flower Show Judging School students and is very readable with photos, diagrams and suggested flowers for longevity. It’s everyone’s best friend.
