Some statistics:

  • Total entries 273, 12% less than last year. And 23% less than 2009.
  • 173 blue ribbon winners or 63% of total entries
  • 47 members or 21% of our total membership brought in at least 1 entry
  • 10 members brought 145 entries or 53% of total entries.
  • Largest number of entries per section:
    • Cut Tropical Flowers – 36
    • Foliage plants in containers – 34
    • Bromeliads in containers -33
    • Cactus & Succulents in containers – 28
    • Orchids – 24
    • Cut Ornamental Foliage – 20
    • Cut Foliage from shrubs & trees – 16

Our display was extremely colorful and the exhibits were in beautiful condition.  Thanks to all who brought in horticulture to the show!  Also special thanks to all who helped set up for our show this year!  And thank you to the Horticulture Committee for all their hard work and commitment to insuring the success of the show.
