Jackie Frodsham is a full-time Naples resident, moving here permanently in January of this year.  Sponsored by Arlene Cluff, she earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Auburn University. Jackie taught third and fourth grade in Georgia, MO and Tehran, Iran before becoming a stay at home mother and volunteer.  She is a member of Naples Botanical Garden and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.  She also is a past President of the Wisteria Garden Club in Fairhope, AL; City of Fairhope Tree committee member and started the Treasured Tree Program.  Two of her homes were on the Fairhope Historic Preservation Committee tours. She was a member of Marion Garden Club in Marion, AL, a member of Perry County Historic Preservation Society, also in Marion; her home was on their Christmas Tour of Homes.

Did you know . . . Jackie’s son is Brian Galligan of the Naples Botanical Garden.  He got his passion for plants from Jackie’s family. Her grandfather was an avid camellia grower and even developed a new cultivar named for him – “Ray’s Best.”
