Garden Up! Smart Vertical Gardening for Small and Large Spaces
Presented by Susan Morrison, APLD Designer, Writer & Master Gardener |
More than just living walls, vertical gardening techniques can be used to turn ordinary fences into focal points, disguise eyesores-‐even grow vegetables! Susan Morrison presents highlights and images from her best-selling book, “Garden Up! Smart Vertical Gardening for Small and Large Spaces.”
Susan Morrison is a landscape designer, garden writer, master gardener and co-author of “Garden Up! Smart Vertical Gardening for Small and Large Spaces,” an Amazon “Best Books of 2011” selection. Her designs have been featured in various publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Horticulture, Cottages and Bungalows. A nationally recognized authority on small-space garden designs, she has appeared on the groundbreaking PBS series Growing a Greener World and writes on the topic for Fine Gardening magazine.
Susan knows first hand the challenges and rewards of gardening in a small space. Her own 18 x 50 back yard is a laboratory for fresh ideas, a test garden for new plants and more importantly, the most popular “room” in her home on a summer evening.
Signed copies of Susan’s book will be available. Susan has consulted with Excelsa Gardens, a superb supplier of tropical plants, to offer special plants to enhance your gardening space whether small or large.
