Linda Curran spends May to October in Chatsworth, Ontario.  Sponsored by Janet Donald, she has experience in floral design and horticulture.  She grew up assisting her mother in the London, Ontario Garden Club.  Linda has experience in fundraising, public relations, program development and teaching.  Her educational background consists of an Ontario Ministry Certification for Health Assessment and Classification for government funding purposes; Clarke Institute, Toronto – Registered Nurse Re-entry Program, research on the aging population; Registered Nurse, Montreal General School of Nursing.  She was an instructor and auditor, evaluator and classifier for Ontario provincial government Health Assessment and Classification.  She worked as a pediatric nurse and in the gastroenterology laboratory at Toronto Western Hospital; was in the Obstetric Clinic, Orthopedics and Surgical Departments at Kingston General Hospital, Toronto General and Montreal General Hospitals.  Linda’s house was on the Chatsworth House & Garden Tour in 2008; Chaired Women Together Fundraising Group; volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Heart and Stroke Cancer Foundation.

Did you know . . .Linda loves to play golf and shot her first “Hole in One” in January. Great excitement!  Way to go Linda!  She is retired now from a career in nursing and lives on a farm in Ontario, Canada from May through October.
