What a fabulous way to begin our year, focusing on our Naples Environment.
Mark Strain, Collier County Planning Commissioner, a dynamic speaker, wowed his audience with an animated power point presentation, a testament to his expansive knowledge of the “Future of Collier County,”
Among the highlights were maps showing future towns in the eastern section of the county, an abundant supply of storage facilities (“Maybe we own too much stuff,” he quipped) and much needed housing for elder care.
Mark addressed population growth and the resulting environmental issues to be expected in the coming years. The county, he reassured us, is planning for new schools, expansion of roads and an ample supply of drinking water. He is very willing to answer any questions you might have.
