Michael Gaffney’s presentation at the December 4 GMM, 1 to 3 pm at the Chabraja Visitor’s Center, will have members expanding their ideas of flower design. Michael, like Leonardo Da Vinci, incorporates concepts from math, science and architecture. His methods get his students accomplishing great designs and feeling like professional designers. Michael will also offer a workshop on December 5, 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Beuhler Auditorium, where members will make designs to take home.

Michael is the director of the American School of Flower Design and author of two books, Design Star and Flower Power. He is also the inventor of Flower Crazy, a DIY flower design system, a lecturer at museums and garden clubs across the country and featured contributor on The Today Show. Michael’s American School of Flower Design has locations in 14 major US cities as well as Paris, London and Milan.

The December 4, 2017 General Membership Meeting is 1 to 3 pm at the Naples Botanical Garden’s Chabraja Visitor Center. Please register online for this meeting. Online registration closes November 30.
